Welcome to the 2026 Black Excellence Junior Cotillion & Beautillion Hosted by the Greater Suburban Maryland Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated
Over the course of several months, our Middle School aged Jr. Belles and Beaus will embark on a curated journey designed to cultivate leadership and poise, social graces and etiquette, confidence and self-expression, and importantly a deep commitment to community service.
This transformative experience will culminate on May 23, 2026, when our participants are formally presented and honored for their dedication, hard work, and growth, surrounded by family, friends, and community leaders in a celebration of Black Excellence, Elegance, and Promise.

About Junior Belle Meghan Wingate

Hello, my name is Meghan Gianna Wingate, and I am an eighth-grade student at Benjamin Tasker Middle School. I believe that excellence is not just something you achieve—it is something you practice every day. I am actively involved in my school and community through stepping, service with Delta Academy and my church’s STAR Ministry Outreach, and academic achievement as a member of the National Junior Honor Society.
I enjoy expressing myself creatively through painting and cursive writing, challenging myself athletically on the lacrosse field, and giving back through service. Each experience helps shape my character and strengthens my commitment to leadership and growth.

My name is Nyla Marie Redmond, and I am an eighth-grade student at Benjamin Tasker Middle School. I bring energy, determination, and focus to everything I do, whether I am on the court, on the field, or on the stage. I am actively involved in my community and enjoy competing in flag football and basketball, where I have learned the value of teamwork and discipline.
In addition to athletics, I am passionate about the performing arts. I enjoy acting, singing, and dancing, and I love expressing myself through performance. These experiences help build my confidence and creativity.

Hello, my name is Isabella Michelle James, and I am a seventh-grade student at Holy Trinity
Episcopal Day School. I believe that creativity and discipline work best together. I am actively
involved in my community and continue to develop my artistic talents through MTC Studios
while also building focus and perseverance through tennis with the Prince George’s Tennis and
Education Foundation.
I enjoy expressing myself in many ways, including playing the flute, crocheting, painting, and
working with pottery. Each activity allows me to explore creativity while strengthening patience
and attention to detail.

My name is Kingston Michael Duvall, and I am a sixth-grade student at Saint Albans School for Boys. I strive for excellence in the classroom, through athletics, music, and service. I participate in soccer, basketball, and competitive tennis training, and I am working toward earning a place on my school’s tennis team.
I am also a dedicated Boy Scout with Troop 1657 at First Baptist of Glenarden, where I continue to grow as a leader through service. In addition, I play the violin in my school orchestra and sing in the CBA All-Boys Choir. These experiences are strengthening my discipline and teamwork.
I aspire to pursue a career in medicine, law, or professional athletics. I am very interested in neurosurgery due to my love for math and science.
